After a pretty intense couple of projects and builds, I took a short career break to align my goals and spend some time with my kids.

I managed daily tasks and prioritised resources for diverse technical projects, including web design and app development, refining our workflow to boost project efficiency. I oversaw our JIRA system for optimal task tracking, and adeptly integrated tools like Clockify, ClickUp, and Harvest to enhance team coordination and reporting.

 

As the main point of communication with senior management, I ensured alignment on project scopes and timelines, managed ticket flows, and coordinated timelines considering various external factors.

 

Additionally, I led recruitment and onboarding, utilising various platforms to source talent and manage freelancers, enhancing our team’s capabilities and expertise.

Throughout my freelance career, digital agencies frequently contracted me to step in for project or account management roles, such as covering maternity leave and other temporary needs.

Additionally, I oversaw logistics and customer service, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and creative teams, I played a key role in strategizing and producing engaging assets for healthcart. I also led the integration of customer feedback into marketing strategies and spearheaded the successful brand launch of healthcart in South Africa.
